... Raw 16S rRNA gene sequencing data from faecal samples collected from BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice at 2 weeks following experimental infection with 1,000 cysts of Giardia muris, and uninfected controls of each mouse line. The data set includes three types of files: 1. Raw reads files – 2 per sample (demultiplexed): e.g. Sample-I3_S16_L001_R1_001.fastq.gz and Sample-I3_S16_L001_R2_001.fastq.gz 2. Metadata file containing the relevant contextual information for each sample: Mouse_Giardia_muris_gut-microbiota.csv 3. OTU table created using Qiime2 including all of the taxonomic information: OTU_table.biom

... The following collection is used to demonstrate the HailPixel survey technique as part of an AGU GRL publication. The following is an abstract for this paper: A new technique, named "HailPixel," is introduced for measuring the maximum dimension and intermediate dimension of hailstones from aerial imagery. The photogrammetry procedure applies a convolutional neural network for robust detection of hailstones against complex backgrounds and an edge detection method for measuring the shape of identified hailstones. This semi-automated technique is capable of measuring many thousands of hailstones within a single survey, which is several orders of magnitude larger than population sizes from existing sensors (e.g., a hail pad). Comparison with a co-located hail pad for an Argentinan hailstorm event demonstrates the larger population size of the HailPixel survey significantly improves the shape and tails of the observed hail size distribution. When hailfall is sparse, such as during large and giant hail events, the large survey area of this technique is especially advantageous for resolving the hail size distribution. The dataset contains the DEM and orthomosaic imagery, processing reports, final location of hail centroids, final measurements of hail major and minor axis, subset offsets and hail pad data. For more information applying the subset offsets to calculate the true position of the hail centroids please see the paper.
Data for: Text detection and Recognition in Raw Image Dataset of Seven Segment Digital Energy Meter Display
Contributors: KARTHICK K, kavaskar sekar
... The raw dataset contains images of digital energy meters (seven segment numerals). The total number of samples collected is 169. All the samples are collected from consumer premises at Tamilnadu, india. The images captured in a way that there is no flash or reflection from the display. The labelling process has been done using the ‘labelbox’ tool for the collected images. The COCO annotation JSON file is available with the link.

... Here we store the coefficients of the planetary disturbing function in computer-readable form. These were obtained by Maxima computer algebra system. The method is described by Laskar and Robutel (CMDA, 62, 193-217, 1995). We should note that our coefficients of secular Hamiltonian up to degree 4 coincide with those presented by Laskar and Robutel (see Section 7, CMDA, 62, 193-217, 1995). Therefore we hope that our expansions are error free. We plan to provide more thorough and complete comments on all of these data in the near future.

... Exposure capture factors which could be manifested in the magnitude and intensity of long-term changes in climate (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, 2007) and in this context factors with impact on agricultural production. Temperature and rainfall were used to capture the extent to which Maize is exposed to climate change. Data was sourced from the Centre for Environmental Data Analysis (CRU TS release 4), with data extracted for 1941 - 2015. The data were processed within R (Version 3.4.2), within this environment the mean (temperature and rainfall) for northern and southern parts of the country were computed. The growing season for Maize in the north spans from May to September while in the south it starts from March and ends in August (FAO, 2018). Furthermore, long (1941 – 2015) and short (1961 – 2015) term averages for the respective growing season were computed for each of the regions. Following the computation of the long and short-term averages, exposure was computed as the ratio of the long-term to the short-term averages. With exposure index for rainfall and temperature computed separately, the two were added to get the combined exposure index. A high value indicates high exposure to climate variability. In this dataset, the exposure index is presented in raster format (Geotiff) to allow for easy processing across GIS software. In addition, the boundaries of the northern and the southern regions were also included as shapefiles.

... Dataset for the study by Xin et al., "Sensory-to-category transformation via dynamic reorganization of ensemble structures in mouse auditory cortex." 1. The folder "Behavior Dataset for Figure 1" contains the behavioral data that can be used to reproduce the results in Figure 1 2. The folder "Dataset for Figures 2, 4, 6, 7, 8" contains 21 sessions calcium imaging data acquired during behavioral task. All the raw data are included in the folder and each session was saved as a separate file. Please refer to the note before data loading. 3. The folder "Dataset for Figure 3" contains calcium imaging data that can be used to reproduce the results in Figure 3. 4. The folder "Dataset for Figure 5" contains calcium imaging data that can be used to reproduce the results in Figure 5, which shows results of the experiments with two different behavior contexts. The subfolder "4_16Sess" contains data for the 4-16kHz imaging sessions. The subfolder "7_28Sess" contains data for for 7-28kHz imaging session. Files within different folders but sharing same file names (e.g. "Sess1_data_save.mat" contains data from session 1) are for the same imaging field of view.
