Description

Movie S1. Animation showing the evolution of the Pohang earthquake sequence from 15 November 2017 to 20 November 2018 (AVI format). Both the map (left) and cross-sectional (right) views of the detected earthquakes are shown at each time step. The red dots in map view represent the earthquake epicenters in the current time window, which is listed at the top. The earthquake epicenters before a given time are also presented as yellow dots. The red and green stars indicate the location and depth of the 2017 Pohang Earthquake and largest aftershock, respectively. The projected earthquake locations along the thick broken line in the map view panel are shown in the cross-sectional view panel; only the earthquake hypocenters within the box (marked by the thin dashed lines in the map view panel) are shown.
