Description

This study provides a comprehensive examination of the impact of the Middle Corridor on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular emphasis on green logistics and regional economic integration. In the context of increasing globalization and the growing importance of sustainable supply chains, the Middle Corridor emerges as a strategically significant route connecting Asia and Europe, offering an alternative that is not only economically viable but also environmentally responsible. The primary aim of the research is to analyze how advancements in modern logistics infrastructure, digital transformation, and sustainable transport systems contribute to multiple dimensions of development, including economic growth, environmental protection, and enhanced regional cooperation. Special attention is given to the role of smart logistics solutions, such as digital customs platforms, real-time tracking systems, and integrated multimodal transport networks, in improving the overall efficiency and transparency of cross-border trade. Methodologically, the study adopts a mixed approach, combining an extensive literature review with comparative analysis across different regions and transport corridors. This allows for a more nuanced understanding of how the Middle Corridor performs relative to alternative routes in terms of sustainability, cost-efficiency, and logistical performance.
