Description

Data set 1 This banana DNA sequence of 314,072 bp harbors the banana MaRAR1 gene and 40 more predicted genes. This DNA sequence belongs to the species Musa acuminata ssp. malaccensis (D’Hont et al. 2012). Data set 2 This data set was generated by qRT-PCR to analyze the expression of banana MaRAR1 in four transgenic (T2) tobacco lines (L1-L4). qRT-PCR was carried out using the StepOne PlusTM RealTime PCR system and StepOne Software v2.3 (Applied Biosystems). Data set 3 This data set was generated to analyze the growth of the bacterium Pseudomonas syringae pv. tabaci in the leaves of four transgenic (T2) tobacco lines (L1-L4) expressing the banana MaRAR1 gene.
