This dataset is on the use of ICT gadgets and influences on students academic performance. The hypothesis is that ICT gadgets aid students academic performance in the long-run if used positively. It is a qualitative study that employed focus group discussion (FGD) and key informant interview (KII). FGD was conducted at all levels of student academic experience including first year to final year undergraduate students, and post graduate students. Also, KII was conducted among Hall Officers, and Lecturers at he university. Preliminary findings showed that ICT gadgets improve students' academic performance.
