"Evaluation of biorational insecticides and DNA barcoding as tools to improve insect pest management in lablab bean in Bangladesh" #### Data from the first field experiment The following datasets were collected from the first field experiment at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Center (Gazipur, Bangladesh) conducted in the winter of 2014-2015 in which plots of lablab bean were treated with various pesticides and then the responses of insect pests, flowering, and yield were observed. The experiment was a randomized block design. See Materials & Methods of the paper for full details on experimental design and sampling protocol. ### Lablab-flower-insect-data-1.csv ## Column key Date Date when data were collected DateNo Date expressed as a number Block Experimental block ID Plot Experimental plot within block ID Block.Plot Block-Plot combination ID Treatment Pesticide treatment (planned) TrtNew Pesticide treatment (realized) Plant Plant ID within plot Stalk Stalk ID within plant Thrips Number of thrips observed on the flower stalk after tapping over paper AphPres Aphid presence (1) or absence (0) on the flower stalk ### Lablab-flowering-data-1.csv ## Column key Block Experimental block ID Treatment Pesticide treatment (planned) TrtNew Pesticide treatment (realized) Date Date when data were collected DateNo Date expressed as a number Stalks The number of flower stalks in the plot with at least one fully open blossom ### Lablab-yield-damage-data-1.csv ## Column key Date Date when data were collected DateNo Date expressed as a number Block Experimental block ID Treatment Pesticide treatment (planned) TrtNew Pesticide treatment (realized) UndamNum Number of undamaged pods harvested UndamMass Mass (g) of undamaged pods harvested DamNum Number of caterpillar-damaged pods harvested DamMass Mass (g) of caterpillar-damaged pods harvested PercDam Percentage of pods damaged by caterpillars #### Data from the second field experiment The following datasets were collected from a second field experiment at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Center (Gazipur, Bangladesh) conducted in the winter of 2014-2015 in which plots of lablab bean were treated with various pesticides and then then the response of insect pests, flowering, and yield were observed.
