Abstract A FORTRAN program is described which calculates the energy eigenvalues, static moments, and electromagnetic transition rates for an odd-A nucleus described as a single nucleon coupled to a vibrating doubly even core. Title of program: PARTICLE-VIBRATION COUPLING Catalogue Id: ABLP_v1_0 Nature of problem Energy levels, static moments, and electromagnetic transition rates are obained for odd-A vibrational nuclei using the Intermediate Coupling Unified Model. The appropriate single particle states are coupled to vibrational excitations of the neighboring even-even core. The single particle energies are extracted form the spectra nuclei with one valence nucleon or are treated as free parameters; phonon energies are derived from neighboring doubly-even nuclei.
