- Slag Composition Data for: Legacy Iron and Steel Wastes in the UK: Extent, Resource Potential, and Management Futures.Review of published UK iron and steel slag chemical composition data supplemented with previously unpublished data held by the authors. Composition data is used to estimate the national inventory of metal resources within slags based on estimates of slag volume across mainland UK (see the main article for details). Carbon sequestration potential was calculated using published carbonation rates of three existing carbonation management approaches.
