Description

Abstract The Monte Carlo generator MAJOR 1.5 simulates the production and decay of heavy Majorana neutrinos via lepton mixing or exchange of 'light' right-handed W-bosons in deep inelastic scattering, i.e. e^± p → NX → e^± W^∓ X or v_e ZX. Physics and programming aspects are described in this manual. Title of program: MAJOR version 1.5 Catalogue Id: ADEQ_v1_0 Nature of problem Heavy Majorana neutrinos are predicted by extended versions of the standard model of electroweak interactions in particle physics. They can be produced in deep inelastic electron-proton scattering via lepton mixing or exchange of 'light' right-handed W-bosons (e+-p -> NX) and they decay into a lepton and a weak boson (N -> e+-W-+ or nu Z0). Versions of this program held in the CPC repository in Mendeley Data ADEQ_v1_0; MAJOR version 1.5; 10.1016/S0010-4655(96)00132-4 This program has been imported from the CPC Program Library held at Queen's University Belfast (1969-2019)
