Description

Transmittance of optical materials manufactured as Crossed Compound Parabolic Concentrators (CCPC). External Quantum Efficiency of Mono-Si Solar Cell, with and without CCPC optics attached to show optical losses as incident light passes straight through optic to cell and also measurements when light is incident at 30 degrees and undergoes reflection off CCPC side wall before reaching Mono Si cell. I-V traces of Mono Si cell on its own under 1000W/m2 AM1.5 Light for continuous exposure until cell temperature reached ~55 degrees and the I-V curve broke down indicating failure. I-V traces of Mono Si Cell with CCPC optics attached and under same exposure of light, comparing temperature of cell, short circuit current, open circuit voltage, fill factor, efficiency and power output of prototypes.
