Simulation Data for Waveform-Assisted Delay and Loss Shaping over Ionized Communication Channels
Description
This dataset contains MATLAB simulation files, numerical result tables, MAT files, and generated figures supporting the manuscript entitled “Waveform-Assisted Delay and Loss Shaping for Smith-Predictor-Based Networked Control over Ionized Communication Channels.” The simulations evaluate waveform-assisted delay/loss shaping under mild, moderate, and severe ionized-channel conditions with blackout-prone feedback behavior. The dataset includes MATLAB scripts, saved simulation data, generated figures, and numerical output tables used for manuscript preparation and reproducibility.

Steps to reproduce
1. Download and unzip Physical_Communication_Simulation_Data.zip. 2. Open MATLAB and set the current working directory to the extracted results_v4_hypersonic folder. 3. Run the main MATLAB script: main_sim_patched_v4_MC_ABLATION_WHITEBG.m. 4. The simulation generates channel-delay, packet-loss, recovery-time, and closed-loop control-performance results for mild, moderate, and severe ionized-channel cases. 5. Numerical outputs are saved in the tables folder, MAT files are saved in the mat folder, and manuscript-ready figures are saved in the figs folder. 6. The README_Hypersonic_V4_Updated_Simulation.md file provides an overview of the dataset contents and simulation outputs.
