Description

A series of measurements were performed following the December 22, 2018 tsunami generated in Sunda Strait of Indonesia. Tsunami flow depth data is shown here. The data comprises all tsunami affected area in Banten Province and Lampung Province of Indonesia. There are 117 tsunami flow depth data displayed in this database. The field survey was conducted from December 24, 2018 until January 3, 2019. The data covered 112 km of Banten coastline and 14 km of Lampung coastline that were hit by the tsunami. Tsunami and Disaster Mitigation Research Center (TDMRC) of Universitas Syiah Kuala is considered the first team that accessed the area after the tsunami. Therefore, data presented in this article were considered the first collected data measured from the tsunami affected area. The area of the investigations were divided into five areas as can be seen in Fig. 1. These data set include data of tsunami flow depths, damaged houses, and tsunami boulders.
