Wang, Kekai Effects of Tong-Xie-Yao-Fang (TXYF) Disassembled Recipes on Brain-gut Peptide in Diarrhea-type Irritable Bowel Syndrome(IBS-D) Rats Mendeley Data Tong-Xie-Yao-Fang was divided into white peony root-- divaricate saposhnikovia root(B-F) and dried tangerine peel-- largehead atractylodes rhizome(C-B) to treat IBS-D model rats.The data include Body weight, AWR score, Bristol stool sale, the expressions of BDNF, SP and CGRP in colon and hippocampus of all rats. B-F in TXYF could bi-directionally regulate the expression of BDNF, which is down regulating the expression of BDNF in colon tissue and up regulating the expression of BDNF in hippocampus tissue. B-F group could significantly down-regulate the expressions of BDNF, SP and CGRP in colon tissue.
