Hou, Chenglei Matched daytime carbon and water exchange at US forest towers during smoke-marked high aerosol loading Mendeley Data Processed observations and Python code for matched daytime carbon and ecosystem water exchange at 19 US forest flux towers and 17 nearby AERONET photometers. The data include 44,955 eligible candidate intervals, tower metadata, native REF and USTAR50 flux products, reference-threshold metadata, HMS annotations, and supporting optical and satellite coverage. The primary comparison contains 1,608 matched intervals; the common GPP comparison contains 1,413 intervals at 16 towers. The code reselects low-optical controls and reproduces regional-year and photometer-day summaries, NT/DT product comparisons, radiation summaries, fixed-exposure weather comparisons, and descriptive sensitivity checks. Source flux datasets and their attribution DOIs are listed in the package. Dates use fixed local standard time. The release contains nine scientific CSV tables, a calculation entry point, dependency list, data dictionary, README and file checksums.
