<dc:title>City-level panel of urban groundwater, foodsheds and urbanization for 875 Southeast Asian cities</dc:title>
    <dc:publisher>Mendeley Data</dc:publisher>
<dc:description>City-level panel supporting a study of urban groundwater ecosystem services, urbanization and food security across Southeast Asia. It covers all 875 GHS-UCDB R2019A urban centres in the eleven Southeast Asian countries, holding 292.8 million residents in 2015.

SEA_city_panel.csv is the principal file: 875 cities by 120 variables, containing every quantity reported in the associated manuscript. These include reconstructed groundwater abstraction, water-supply and contamination-adjusted purification value, modelled arsenic hazard, foodshed rice production and self-sufficiency at 25 km and 100 km radii, flood and storm-surge exposure, elevation, and built-up area at 1975, 1990, 2000 and 2015. Superseded pre-posterior values are retained under reliance_prior_point for transparency.

Also included: SEA_city_projection.csv (2030 and 2050 projections), SEA_reliance_posterior.csv (hierarchical Bayesian country reliance posterior), SEA_urban_gw_reliance_estimates.csv (the three input instruments the model reconciles), SEA_country_water_panel_1990-2025.csv (FAO AQUASTAT national accounts with provenance flags retained), kappa_sensitivity.csv (sensitivity of every arsenic-dependent result to the assigned Beta concentration), and reference tables for arsenic, published subsidence rates and prior valuation literature. README.md documents every file and the key variables.

Derived from openly available third-party sources: GHS-UCDB R2019A, FAO AQUASTAT, WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme, SPAM 2010 v2.0, and the Podgorski and Berg (2020) global arsenic hazard model.</dc:description>
