<dc:title>Deidentified Dataset for Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intentions Among BCBAs in Private Equity-Owned ABA Organizations</dc:title>
    <dc:publisher>Mendeley Data</dc:publisher>
<dc:description>This dataset contains deidentified participant-level data from 549 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs and BCBA-Ds) employed in private equity (PE)-owned applied behavior analysis (ABA) organizations in the United States. Data were collected through an online survey from June 20 to September 20, 2024, to examine job satisfaction and turnover intentions among experienced behavior analysts.

Job satisfaction was assessed using the 36-item Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) across nine facets: Pay, Promotion, Supervision, Fringe Benefits, Contingent Rewards, Operating Conditions, Coworkers, Nature of Work, and Communication. Turnover intentions were assessed using a three-item measure addressing consideration of leaving, intention to quit, and job-search behavior.

The workbook includes deidentified survey responses, scored JSS items, facet and total scores, turnover-intention scores, a data dictionary, README, and article-verification information. No directly identifying participant information is included.

The dataset accompanies the manuscript, Scaling Specialized Healthcare Services Through Private Equity: Human Capital, Job Satisfaction, and Workforce Sustainability in Applied Behavior Analysis*, and is provided to support research transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analysis.
