<dc:description>his dataset supports the manuscript, “The Horse in the Ceremony: Isotopic Evidence for Diverse Geographic Locales of Bronze Age Horses from the Middle and Upper Reaches of the Yellow River, China.”

The dataset contains two files:

S1.xlsx: the study data used for the strontium-isotope baseline analysis, provenance assessment, statistical analyses, and reported visualizations.
JAS_Sr_Isoscape_Reproducibility_Code.zip: Python code and documentation for reproducing the random forest regression model of bioavailable \(^{87}\mathrm{Sr}/^{86}\mathrm{Sr}\), cross-validation metrics, isoscape generation, animal-to-baseline compatibility matching, and associated figures.

The code archive includes a README file describing the required input format, software dependencies, and commands for reproducing the analyses.</dc:description>
