This is the dataset of the study to explore the causes of unnatural deaths among the females of reproductive age groups in Nepal. There was a significant variation in the manner of deaths among the females of hill caste and terai, with the frequency of intentional deaths higher among the hill caste. Likewise, the females of the younger age group and unmarried females had died of intentional deaths more often. The females had mostly died of suicide, with hanging being the commonest cause and homicide was not common. </dc:description>
