<dc:title>Metabolic intensity and exercise tolerance during heart rate reserve–calibrated uphill walking in young adults with lower and higher fitness</dc:title>
    <dc:publisher>Mendeley Data</dc:publisher>
<dc:description>This dataset supports Figures 2–4 of the manuscript “Metabolic intensity and exercise tolerance during heart rate reserve–calibrated uphill walking in young adults with lower and higher fitness.” It contains de-identified participant-level data from 35 young adults (lower fitness, n = 15; higher fitness, n = 20). The Excel workbook includes time to exhaustion, heart rate reserve, oxygen uptake reserve, baseline-referenced muscle oxygen saturation, and EMG root mean square values, together with figure summaries and reported statistical results. Missing observations are left blank. Time-to-exhaustion values in min.ss format represent minutes and seconds; decimal-minute values are also provided.</dc:description>
