The data set is referenced as "Supporting Information" in a paper on the geology of the Thrace Basin called "Thrace Basin – An Oligocene clastic basin formed during the exhumation of the Rhodope Complex", which will come out in Tectonics. The "Supporting Information" includes Tables with biostratigraphic results (Table S1), information on the geochronological samples (Table S2), U-Pb zircon data from nine tuff (Tables S3 to S11) and three sandstone samples (Tables S12 to S14) from the Thrace Basin, compiled cooling ages from the northern Rhodope Complex (Table S15), and cathodoluminescence images of the dated zircons (Figure S1).
