    <dc:title>Dataset and Stata Analysis Code for “Inter-Observer Reliability of Finger Total Active Motion Assessed Using a Multilevel Mixed-Effects Model”</dc:title>
    <dc:publisher>Mendeley Data</dc:publisher>
    <dc:description>

This dataset accompanies the manuscript entitled “Inter-Observer Reliability of Finger Total Active Motion Assessed Using a Multilevel Mixed-Effects Model.”

The study evaluated the inter-observer reliability of total active motion (TAM) measurements obtained by two trained hand therapists in 47 participants. Four fingers per participant (index, middle, ring, and small) were independently assessed by both observers, resulting in 376 measurements.

Inter-observer reliability was evaluated using a multilevel linear mixed-effects model fitted by restricted maximum likelihood (REML), with random intercepts for participants and fingers nested within participants. Conventional finger-specific intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC(2,1)) were also calculated for comparison.

The repository contains three files:

Stata dataset (.dta): Dataset containing the variables used in the statistical analyses.

Excel dataset (.xlsx): Spreadsheet version of the study dataset.

Stata do-file (.do): Statistical analysis code used to fit the multilevel mixed-effects models and perform the reliability analyses.

These materials are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and further methodological research on the analysis of hierarchically structured data in hand surgery and rehabilitation.</dc:description>
