Martín-García, Laura Orbital control of Reticulofenestra (calcareous nannofossils) assemblages during the Early Pliocene Mendeley Data This dataset contains high-resolution records generated from Early Pliocene marine sediments recovered at IODP Site U1587 during Expedition 397 (Iberian Margin). The data include calcareous nannofossil micropaleontological counts, terrigenous grain size distributions, and geochemical records, specifically Ca/Ti ratios and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) results derived from XRF core scanning. These records are used to reconstruct orbital-scale Reticulofenestra variability.
