Herrero, Juan Data of a 280 ha-irrigated saline farm in Huesca Province, Spain Mendeley Data Pompenillo is the name of a farm located in the municipality of Grañén, in Huesca (Spain). A soils study was conducted in the 1980's to design a drainage system that would reduce soil salinity. We display here the most relevant data acquired by this study The chemical data on soils, crops, and groundwater composition, as well as other details, are presented in the spreadsheet “1986 POM-02.xlsx.” The file “Crop Maps for 1975, 1980, and 1985.pdf” shows the sketches of crop plans for those three years. The file “1985 RICE López-Campos Water and Salinity.pdf” provides details on rice cultivation in the southern and Mediterranean regions of the Iberian Peninsula. The other three PDF files, corresponding to 1990, 1996, and 2000, contain data on yields, pests, cultivation techniques, and other specifications related to rice in Aragón, Spain.
