<dc:title>Assessment of the implementation of BIM and DT in Water Management Sector: A case study of luanda,Angola </dc:title>
<dc:publisher>Mendeley Data</dc:publisher>
<dc:description>This dataset was obtained from a field survey conducted in the Luanda-Angola. The dataset, collected between from March 14 to October 04, 2024 using a a non-probability expert sampling framework, to evaluates the adoption of BIM and DT technologies in the Luanda water sector. The survey link was self-administered questionnaires distributed through two primary channels: institutional partnerships with OEA and OA headquarters in Luanda, and targeted outreach to AECO firms identified via Angolan industry registries, resulting in 63 complete responses during the study period. A rigorous multi-stage analytical framework to examine BIM and DT adoption patterns in Angola's water sector. Chi-Square statistical analyses were conducted at a 0.05 significance threshold using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software.
Results revealed that BIM familiarity varies significantly across professionals and that most have a basic understanding of the DT. Results also reveal that improved planning and design processes emerged as principal benefits, followed by enhanced data management and better visualization and simulation capabilities.
