<dc:title>Development of pH-sensitive acrylic terpolymers for the coating of orally administered drugs used for colonic release</dc:title>
    <dc:publisher>Mendeley Data</dc:publisher>
<dc:description>In this work, a series of polymeric coating formulations were developed by emulsion polymerization from pH-sensitive acrylic monomers. These research results can support the design of coatings for drugs, especially for those that are orally administered and have colonic release. The coatings are suitable for protecting the HPMC capsule at gastric pH (pH= 1.2) and dissolve at a simulated intestinal pH of 7.2. The delivery kinetics of the test molecule occurs over a range of 1 to 4 hours. This range is related to the formulation of the terpolymer, its solubility and the release of the associated API.</dc:description>
