<dc:title>Dataset: Mechanical, chemical, and thermal performance of concrete incorporating CO₂ and supplementary cementitious materials (FA and GGBS)</dc:title>
    <dc:publisher>Mendeley Data</dc:publisher>
<dc:description>This dataset supports the research article titled "Combined Effects of CO₂ Incorporation and Supplementary Cementitious Materials on the Mechanical, Chemical, and Thermal Performance of Concrete" submitted to Construction and Building Materials (Elsevier).

The dataset contains experimental data from an investigation into the combined effects of carbon dioxide (CO₂) incorporation and supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) on concrete properties. Six concrete mix designs were evaluated: ordinary Portland cement (OPC) control, OPC with 15% fly ash (FA) replacement, OPC with 50% ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBS) replacement, and their CO₂-treated counterparts.

The dataset includes:
- Compressive strength development data at 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, 28, and 150 days
- Fresh concrete properties (slump and flow table test results)
- pH evolution measurements for fresh and hardened concrete
- High-temperature mass loss data (25°C to 1000°C)
- Visual crack length measurements after elevated temperature exposure
- Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) micrographs
- Raw experimental measurements and calculated values

This data supports findings on early-age strength enhancement, workability changes, thermal performance, and microstructural characteristics of CO₂-modified concrete containing SCMs.</dc:description>
