Inicialmente relegadas a roles secundarios, las mujeres han ganado presencia y reconocimiento gracias a movimientos feministas, reformas legales y políticas de igualdad de género. Hoy las mujeres participan activamente en fuerzas policiales, militares y la judicatura, enfrentando y superando desafíos como la discriminación y el acoso. Su presencia ha fortalecido los sectores de justicia y seguridad, contribuyendo a enfoques más inclusivos y efectivos en la resolución de conflictos y la administración de justicia. A pesar de los avances, es importante continuar promoviendo la participación femenina para mejorar la eficacia y equidad en estos sistemas a nivel global. Initially relegated to secondary roles, women have gained presence and recognition thanks to feminist movements, legal reforms, and gender equality policies. Their presence has strengthened the justice and security sectors, contributing to more inclusive and effective approaches to conflict resolution and the administration of justice.
