<dc:title>Data for “Parametric Design and Predictive Modelling of a Segmental Semi-Circular Planar Torsional Spring”</dc:title>
    <dc:publisher>Mendeley Data</dc:publisher>
<dc:description>This dataset accompanies the manuscript “Parametric Design and Predictive Modelling of a Segmental Semi-Circular Planar Torsional Spring”. It contains the numerical and experimental data underlying the development and validation of the proposed parametric design framework. The numerical dataset includes the 96 finite element configurations used for model calibration and 15 additional unseen configurations used for validation, together with geometric parameters, admissibility quantities, applied loads, predicted and simulated torsional stiffness, and maximum von Mises stress. The experimental dataset contains processed results from static testing of 15 fabricated Al-6061 spring specimens and low-frequency cyclic testing used to assess stiffness repeatability and frequency dependence. The accompanying README describes the organisation of the files, variables, units, and processing steps used to obtain the reported quantities.</dc:description>
