<dc:title>Data and code for curvature-controlled in-plane relaxation and prescribed-state validity of reduced thermal shell models</dc:title>
    <dc:publisher>Mendeley Data</dc:publisher>
<dc:description>This repository contains the data and code supporting the study “Curvature-controlled in-plane relaxation and prescribed-state validity of reduced models for thermally loaded variable-stiffness composite shallow cylindrical shells.” It includes the reduced-order implementations, independent Q4 finite-element and cubic B-spline in-plane discretizations, Abaqus composite-shell input decks and postprocessing scripts, processed CSV/JSON results, final vector figures, a manuscript-to-data map, and SHA-256 file hashes. Large Abaqus ODB and solver scratch files are excluded because they can be regenerated from the supplied input decks.
The study quantifies when a constrained reduced-order closure that omits second-order in-plane relaxation ceases to be interchangeable with a relaxed closure under fixed-temperature prescribed transverse states. The primary measures are the signed tangent-stiffness error and signed membrane-energy ratio, evaluated against a preregistered 5% engineering boundary. The tested variable-stiffness path does not produce a boundary shift resolvable above the preregistered numerical resolution.</dc:description>
