Institutional capacity and the limits of global scorecards Mendeley Data This replication package supports the associated study of the World Bank RISE renewable-energy score, institutional capacity and non-hydro renewable electricity outcomes for 2011–2021. It contains eight World Bank Data360 source snapshots (RISE, WDI and WGI), provenance information, processed panels, analysis scripts, dependency requirements, checksums, tables, figures and logs. The main estimation sample contains 1,271 observations from 124 economies, as reported in the supplied analysis outputs. Static fixed-effects, bootstrap, country-exclusion, trend, dynamic and outcome-scale sensitivity results are retained. The reported evidence is a specification-dependent static concordance, not a causal near-term effect. The system-GMM workflow re-estimates when pydynpd is installed; otherwise it explicitly retains outputs and logs from the verified REVISED6 run. Users should consult the README and source provenance records. Third-party source files remain subject to the World Bank Dataset Terms and any dataset-specific licence conditions.
