It includes 41 experimental runs from a combined central composite design applied to end milling of AISI 1045 carbon steel. The dataset reports the coded levels of the control factors feed rate (fz), depth of cut (ap), and cutting speed (Vc), as well as the noise factors tool wear (Vb) and cutting fluid concentration (C). The response variables are surface roughness (Ra) and specific cutting energy (Ec). Missing measurements are preserved as reported in the manuscript.
