Abstract: Simultaneous measurements of free amino acids in seawater (underlying water, ULW, and sea surface microlyer, SML), size-segregated aerosol particle and cloud water samples at the Cape Verde Atmospheric Observatory (CVAO) in the framework of the MarParCloud project with contribution of MARSU in September/October 2017. During this campaign, sampling of size-segregated aerosol particles at the CVAO (30 m sampling tower) and seawater sampling at the ocean site (~16°53ˈ30ˈN, ~24°54ˈ00ˈˈW) were performed. Additionally, aerosol sampler and cloud water sampler were installed at the mountain station on the top of the mountain 'Monte Verde (MV)' (744 m a.s.l.). The amino acid analysis includes glycine (Gly), L-alanine (Ala), L-serine (Ser), L-glutamic acid (Glu), L-threonine (Thr), L-proline (Pro), L-tyrosine (Tyr), L-valine (Val), L-phenylalanine (Phe), L-aspartic acid (Asp), L-isoleucine (Ile), L-leucine (Leu), L-methionine (Met), L-glutamine (Gln) and γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) (purity ≥ 99 %, Sigma-Aldrich, St. Louis, Missouri, USA). The analytical measurements of the derivatized FAA, derivatization was performed using AccQ-Tag™ precolumn derivatization method (Waters, Eschborn, Germany), were performed with ultra high performance liquid chromatography with electrospray ionization and Orbitrap mass spectrometry (UHPLC/ESI Orbtitrap-MS). Abstract: This dataset contains raster grids in GeoTIFF format describing the constraints on accumulation of tropical peat imposed by drainage network geometry in regions of northwest and southern Borneo. Each raster in the dataset gives the geometric capacity for peat accumulation (non-dimensional equilibrium peat thickness) in a parcel of land, calculated using the method described in the paper. The parcels are grouped into five areas, referred to by the names Badas, Baram, Belait, EMRP and Sebangau. Rasters have arbitrary numeric labels (001.tif, 002.tif, ...) in all areas except the Badas area, where descriptive names are used for the parcels before (badas) and after (badas_west and badas_east) subdivision by a canal. The map projection and resolution are included in each raster via standard GeoTIFF metadata; the projections used were EPSG:5247 for the Badas, Baram, and Belait areas and EPSG:32749 for the EMRP and Sebangau areas. Abstract: 1-Hz displacements at GEONET (GPS Earth Observation Network) stations in Japan during the 2011 Tohoku Mw9.0 earthquake. The displacements were obtained using the method of Precise Point Positioning with the PANDA software. Totally 1221 stations are included, spanning from 14:45 to 15:30 on March 11, 2011 in Japan local time.
