- Nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC) was prepared from TEMPO-oxidized bleached pulp by mechanical delamination. Sonication and ultracentrifugation was subsequently used in order to remove large aggregates. The measurements were performed using Bohlin CVO rheometer (Malvern Instruments Limited, UK). A cone-plate geometry (4 °/40 mm) was used with a gap width of 150 μm. The experiments were performed at 20 °C.
