3D scan data from a plaster rosette purported to have been taken from an original Jeffersonian era rosette from the UVA Rotunda; included in this dataset are the original scan OBJ files from the scanning of the top and bottom of the rosette plus exports from the comprehensive dataset created with Geomagic. One dataset was created using the Surface Merge algorithm for combining the 2 source datasets and the other is from the UltraHigh Definition Mesh Construction algorithm. The plaster color texture was not easily documented due to the white color of the original material which is difficult for laser scanners to read because of light reflection distortion. However the surface geometry was captured and nearly 1/3 of a millimeter in resolution.

The working condition dataset is assembled from: 1) the consortium of North American retailers is the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety (Alliance), and 2) the consortium of European retailers is the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh (Accord). Both are legally binding consortiums, which aim to improve safety in Bangladeshi ready-made garment (RMG) factories. The inspection in each factory in Bangladesh was carried on Alliance and Accord. These factories supply North American and European retailers in the global supply chain.
