This study consists of sex-disaggregated data and other related materials generated as part of the Sentinel Landscapes Network household survey baseline in Western Amazon sentinel site in Peru and Bolivia. A total of 677 households were surveyed in 2014 and 2015 from 30 villages namely: Fitzcarrald, San Bernardo, Las Mercedes, Victor Raul Haya Del La Torre, Los Cedros, Tahuantinsuyo, Monte Sinai, Los Manantiales, La Torre, Baltimore, Comunidad Nativa Sinchi Roca, Caserio Bajo Shiringal, Caserio Nuevo Huanuco, Caserio Nueva Bellavistal, Caserio Nuevo Ucayali, Centro Poblado San Juan Bautista, Caserio Alto Shiringal, Caserio Villa El Salvador, Caserio Nuevo Horizonte, Caserio Buenos Aires, Soberania, El Chorro, Espiritu, Petronila, Holanda, Ucia, Buyuyo, Limon, 10 De Noviembre, Empresina. The data consists of information on household demographics, migration, education, asset ownership, income sources, household food security, progress out of poverty, crop production and sales, livestock products, participation in credit markets, social networks, and natural resource use. In compliance with the CGIAR protocol on collecting sex-disaggregated data, approximately 50% of the respondents interviewed were women. The 1904-07 Prussian maps show the footprints of settlements including the outlines of city walls. Small areas around each capital in the ChinaW file were clipped from the georeferenced maps. Filenames contain the ChinaW ID number for each city.

To test the hypothesis that pleasure from artistic music is intellectual while that from popular music is physiological, this study investigated the different functional mechanisms between aesthetic appreciation of artistic and popular music using fMRI. 18 male non-musicians were scanned while they performed an aesthetic rating task for excerpts of artistic music, popular music and musical notes playing and singing (control). Both factorial model and parametric model were used for group analysis.

Digital soil property maps were generated at 30 meters resolution for the West of Honduras in order to develop the AGRI v.1 tool (Monserrate et al., 2016). AGRI (from its Spanish words AGua para RIego) is a tool that combines information about climate, relief, soils, land cover, and hydrology to identify suitable water sources for implementing small irrigation projects. The soil properties mapped were sand (%), silt (%), clay (%), texture class, field capacity (v/v), wilting point (v/v), water holding capacity (v/v), and curve numbers. A database of 1887 points from González et al. (2008) were used to generate the maps of sand, silt, and clay. This database was also used to determine field capacity, wilting point and water-holding capacity for each point by applying pedotransfer functions according to Saxton & Rawls (2006). A regression kriging approach was performed by combining 80% of point data with the terrain attributes aspect, mid-slope position, normalized height, plan and profile curvature, slope and topographic wetness index generated from a digital elevation model SRTM of 30 meters resolution. The combination of sand, silt, and clay maps resulted on texture class map. The curve number was mapped using the texture and land cover maps according to Soil Conservation Service of the United States of America (USDA-SCS, 1985). The maps performance was evaluated by the normalized root mean square error (RMSEn) expressed in percentage and using 20% of data point not used for mapping. Clay, sand, silt, field capacity, water holding capacity and wilting point presented error of 16%, 17%, 13%, 19%, 10% and 18% respectively.

This dataset contains Mars Daily Global Maps (MDGMs) made from the wide-angle global map swath images taken by the Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC). The raw images are available at the Planetary Data Systems (PDS)'s Imaging node. MDGMs are organized as a .tar file for each mission subphase. Each mission subphase usually contains about a month's of data. Each MDGM covers the whole sun-lit planet as observed at about 2 PM local time on each day. It is composed from 13 consecutive sets of red and blue MGS MOC global map swaths. Each MGS MOC MDGM consists of 1 north polar map (45N-90N in polar stereographic projection), 1 south polar map (45S-90S in polar stereographic projection) and 1 non-polar map (60S-60N in simple cylindrical projection). It has a 0.1 degree longitude by 0.1 degree latitude resolution. The procedure used for making MDGMs is described in Wang H. and Ingersoll, A.P., 2002. Data Development: This TIFF was created from running a Simple Kriging on points that were obtained from taking digitized points from an Admiral Bathymetry map and points collected in the field. These points were combined into the same file and had their depths converted to the same unit (meters). All points that were outside of the Lake Victoria shoreline polygon were removed.
