  • Multiplicative amplitude transduction is a quantum state preparation algorithm that requires less quantum computational resource than previously known state preparation algorithms. This Jupyter notebook demonstrates the algorithm using an Ising model spin configuration generator. The quantum circuits in the demonstration are written using the Qiskit library. For small isotropic square-lattice Ising models, the circuits generate spin configurations randomly according to the Boltzmann distribution. Both real quantum hardware (IBM Quantum Experience) and the built-in QASM simulator.
