Description

The aim of the study was to research possible protective factors against burnout in adolescents. The data is gathered from 284 Finnish upper secondary school students. The indipendent variables used in this study were coping self-efficacy, resilience and school atmosphere. The dependent variable was burnout symptoms. Moreover, we used some demographic variables to see whether they affected the results in any way. The dataset shows the independent and dependent variables as well as the demographic variables used to research this. The results from the study suggest that using problem-focused coping, seeking support from friends and family and a school atmosphere that instills meaning in the school work were associated with less burnout symptoms.
