Description

Data file for "Across-arc variations of potassium isotope compositions in a fluid-dominated subduction zone and implications for global potassium recycling". Included are data for supplementary Tables S1-S2. Table S1 reports the K isotopic compositions of the Kamchatka arc lavas. Table S2 shows the compiled Major, trace elements, stable and radiogenic isotopic compositions of Kamchatka arc lavas.

Potassium isotopic compositions (δ41K) of the investigated samples were measured on a Neptune Plus MC-ICP-MS (Thermo FisherTM) using a standard-sample-bracketing method in low-resolution mode at the Ore Deposit and Exploration Centre (ODEC), Hefei University of Technology, China. To further improve our confidence in measured δ41K values, we double checked four Kamchatka arc lavas along with one standard on a Nu 1700 Sapphire MC-ICP-MS with a sample-standard bracketing technique that was independently measured at the State Key Laboratory for Mineral Deposits Research, School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, Nanjing University.
