SVCV-MS01 genome

Description

We investigated a mass mortality event in common carp that had been introduced from Meishan City, Sichuan Province, and subsequently farmed in Wuhan. An SVCV isolate, designated SVCV-MS01, was obtained from diseased fish.

Steps to reproduce

EPC cells were infected with the SVCV-MS01. When 80% CPE was observed, the cells were freeze thawed three times and then centrifuged at 1000×g for 5 min. The post infection supernatant was collected, RNA was extracted, and the resulting cDNA was sent out for whole genome sequencing.
