Functional Literacy, Entrepreneurial Competency and Wealth Creation among Graduates of Tertiary Institutions in Kwara State, Nigeria

Description

The data was collected via a survey with the aid of a structured questionnaire. The questionnaire was administered across twelve communities randomly selected from six local government areas located in three different senatorial districts of Kwara state in Nigeria. A sample of fifty (50) respondents were selected from each community using simple random sampling techniques to ensure equal chance of selection. A total of six hundred (600) respondents were finally selected but five hundred and sixty-two (562) responses were recorded. The survey was approved and monitor by the ethical committee of University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. The dataset in Excel format, the data description and questionnaire are attached

• The dataset provides information on basic infrastructures that are essential for wealth creation • The data is useful in understanding the fundamental predictors of wealth creation among young graduates • Researchers can access and reuse the dataset to investigate the levels of wealth creation, functional literacy, and entrepreneurial competency as well as the relationship among them.
