Description

In real-time communication, the session continuity is important when wireless devices and modern smartphones come with multiple interfaces to access multiple networks on heterogeneous wireless networks. Seamless mobility between these networks can be achieved by optimizing parameters and mobility model related with horizontal and vertical handover management. A detailed explanation of handover data present in this article to address the horizontal and vertical handover in Proxy Mobile IPv6 protocol on video transmission in homogeneous and heterogeneous wireless networks. Specifically, data compare with existing protocols under network simulation software in the context of handover delay, throughput, jitter, cumulative measured, packet loss rates, and other benefits which are peak signal noise ratio and quality of image. Data are measured based on average performance metrics for both horizontal handover and vertical handover.
