Description

This dataset contains the landing test kinematic parameters used to assess the effect of the 11+Kids program on preadolescent female soccer players. The kinematics was evaluated before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the 8-week 11+Kids program in the intervention group (identified as 1). A control group (identified as 2) was evaluated before and after the execution of 8-week regular training.

Steps to reproduce

Kinematic was recorded with motion capture system. Peak landing kinematic was obtained in the interval between initial contact (the first frame when the metatarsal heads reaches the lowest vertical position) and maximum knee flexion during single-leg drop landings. The analysis was performed before and after the 8-week 11+Kids program (or normal training for control group). The analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used to compare differences between groups. The ANCOVA was applied to compare the between-group results in the post-test, considering the pre-test data as baseline (covariate).
