Description

This dataset contains the research instruments and supporting materials used in the study “‘Willing to Speak‘ Does Not Mean ‘Actually Speaking‘: The Facilitating Effect of AI Dependence on Classroom Willingness to Communicate and the Challenge of Behavioral Transformation.” The dataset includes: 1. Survey Questionnaire (Chinese and English versions) – used to measure AI dependence, oral self-efficacy, online speech processing load, and classroom WTC among 104 first-year university students. 2. Semi-Structured Interview Protocol – used to explore students‘ experiences with AI use and classroom participation (n=10). 3. Classroom Observation Record (Appendix A) – systematic observation notes documenting voluntary participation patterns across the semester. All data have been anonymized. Participant confidentiality has been fully protected.
