Description

The relationship between dermatologist supply and racial and ethnic distribution of the U.S. population has been unclear. In this cross-sectional study, we found that among urban and suburban counties, greater racial and ethnic diversity is associated with higher dermatologist density. Therefore, the geographic distribution of dermatologists may not explain racial and ethnic disparities in access to care on the county level. This page includes the Supplemental Methods, Supplemental Figure 1, and Supplemental Table 1 for our study.
