Description

High-resolution pollen records (pollen percentages, pollen concentration, and pollen accumulation rate) from two SW Iberian Margin cores (SHAK06-5K and MD01-2444) spanning last 28 ka. Records span the Last Glacial Maximum and Holocene and show vegetation changes during Heinrich Stadials 1&2, the Bølling–Allerød, and the Younger Dryas. Published in: Cutmore et al., 2022. Abrupt intrinsic and extrinsic responses of southwestern Iberian vegetation to millennial-scale variability over the past 28 k. JQS, 37, 420-440. Age model included, based on high-resolution radiocarbon dates of monospecific samples of the planktonic foraminifera Globigerina bulloides, measured from SHAK06-5K and MD01-2444 and aligned using an automated stratigraphical alignment method, as published in Cutmore et al., 2022, JQS.
