Steps to reproduce
To reproduce this dataset, the following steps should be followed. First, a systematic literature search must be conducted in the Scopus database using the predefined search equation based on the PICOC model: ("Free Trade Agreement" OR "trade agreement" OR "trade liberalization" OR "Tratado de Libre Comercio") AND ("Peru") AND ("agricultural sector" OR agriculture OR agroexports) AND ("economic development" OR competitiveness OR productivity). Second, apply the inclusion criteria: (i) scientific articles and systematic reviews, (ii) studies focused on the Peru–United States Free Trade Agreement, (iii) research related to the agricultural sector, (iv) publications between 2018 and 2026, (v) documents in English or Spanish, and (vi) full-text availability. Third, apply the exclusion criteria: (i) studies not related to the Peru–US FTA, (ii) research focused on non-agricultural sectors, (iii) studies without economic impact analysis, (iv) duplicate records, and (v) documents without methodological rigor. Fourth, conduct the screening process following PRISMA guidelines, including identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion phases. Fifth, extract relevant data from the selected studies using a structured matrix based on the PICOC model, including variables such as author, year, country, methodology, and main findings. Finally, organize the extracted data into a database (Excel format) to allow comparative analysis and ensure transparency and reproducibility of the systematic review process.
