Description

The model of porous material intended for printing on a 3D printer is presented. This sample has a size of 100x100x100 mm and consists of 8000 cubic cells with an edge of 5 mm and cavities inside the size of 3 mm. The effective thermal conductivity of this porous material is 0.1678 W/mC.

Steps to reproduce

1. Using CAD modeling, create a cube with the required size. 2. Cut out from the center of the cube a spherical cavity with a diameter not exceeding the edge of the cube. 3. Create a pattern of the resulting geometry in each orthogonal direction with a step equal to the side of the cube. 4. Export the resulting geometry in .stl format.
