Description

This study presents different datasets for arable fields (mostly winter wheat) focusing on the occurence and distribution of weeds. The data accompany the PhD dissertation of Laura Kellermann [KELLERMANN L (2024) World hunger versus biodiversity. Transformation apporaches towards a sustainable agricultural system. Dissertation, Fakultät für Biowissenschaften, Universität Heidelberg. S. 1-108.]. The file data_R_scripts.xlsx contain metadata of the various fields, a description of columns and rows is found with sheet "notes on columns". The second file Mapping_SpeciesPerField_clean.xlsx provides the detailed mapping results. Here values according to Braun-Blanquet (r,+,1,2,3,4,5,x) have been transformed into percentage values according to Güngör (2011) (0,01/0,02/0,04/0,15/0,375/0,625/0,875/0,01). [Güngör, Ş. B. (2011).
