Description

The proposed method improves the accuracy of diagnosing the state of the anterior segment of the eye after a burn lesion, due to the quantitative determination of the area of the lesion in mm2 and, as a result, gives an idea of the dynamics of changes in the organs of vision from the therapy.

Steps to reproduce

In the Photoshop CS5 program, we created, taking into account the above data, a special brush on a transparent layer with equidistant dots sized 0.5 x 0.5 mm (0.25 mm2), with a resolution of 300 dpi (which in turn provides a real size with the original), 8-bit RGB color mode, Adobe RGB (1998) public mode as a color profile, and saved in the standard ".abr" file extension. A Photoshop brush is usually downloaded as an archive that needs to be unpacked. After unpacking, opening the Photoshop program, the brush tool (Brush) is selected. On the tool options panel brush (Brush Tool) is selected loading brushes (Load brushes). Next, going to the folder in which the downloaded brush is unpacked, it is selected and loaded into Photoshop. Alternatively, the corresponding grid pattern is printed on transparencies in A4 size. Then a circle with a grid in the center is cut out and inserted into the eyepiece of the microscope on its diaphragm, and a special eyepiece insert with a grid can be used in practice.
