Description

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the capacity to pay attention to one’s own and other people’s feelings and emotions, to recognise differences between them, and to utilise this knowledge to inform one's decisions and behaviour. For physiotherapist it is particularly important because they treat patients who have undergone a trauma which has affected them physically as well as psychologically. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to determine whether undergraduate students' emotional intelligence has increased, to evaluate if the Undergraduate students' social skills have improved following their interactions with patients, to assess the students' level of self-awareness and self-control.
